As part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, Trumbull County was awarded $38,557,293.88 to utilize to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 on this county. Over the last three and half years, the County Commissioners made determinations on how that money would be spent with the federal deadline of obligating the funds of December 31, 2024. All funds were obligated by that date by the County Commissioners. The funds have and will be utilized for a combination of County projects (including county buildings as well as infrastructure) and grants to both non-profits and local entities. Below is a chart listing how the money has and will be spent.
