Inmates are released 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Inmate releases are not scheduled and occur when correctional officers have the necessary paperwork and can proceed with the book-out process. This can vary depending on workload, jail scheduling, and each individual inmate

We do not deliver messages to inmates. If you have a verifiable emergency, please call (330) 675-2508.

Yes, they will need to contact Chaplin Thomas Gabrovsek at 330-675-4063 to register. After registration, they will need to provide clergy identification to verify their status.

Prescription medication is not accepted by the Trumbull County Jail. Medical staff will contact anyone who requires medicine to be brought in with specific instructions.

Clothing will be accepted for an inmate to wear to court if the inmate will be having a jury trial.

Prescription glasses can be dropped off at the Front Desk or Central Control, (window with phone) with name of inmate and prescription attached. No glasses will be accepted without a prescription. Reading glasses are not permitted.

We are a tobacco free facility. Smoking or possession of any tobacco products or smoking materials is strictly prohibited and subject to disciplinary actions and/or criminal charges.

Inmates are permitted two books per stay. Books must be softback and sent through book store.

Yes, inmates can release property from their clear bag only. Clear bag contents are considered items of value. It is the responsibility of the inmate to request a Property Release form. We will not deliver a message to an inmate requesting they prepare a property release. Property belonging to inmates sentenced to prison or are going to another agency must release all property. Property pick up: Monday-Sunday 8:00 am - 11:00 am and 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

Details of prisoner transports are confidential and never given out to the public. A sentenced inmate will be transported within ten days of sentencing.
